| Hello all~ Wow... i didn't realize that it had been *so* long since my last entry! (it doesn't seem like it...) i actually couldn't find where i needed to click to put in a new entry...lol. wow... anywho.... College!!-- it's wonderful!! i'm just taking 3 classes, but they're enough for now!, that on top of teaching... it's alot, but it's great. :) I love all 3 of my teachers *so much*!, and i know i'm being spoiled to it, becuase i don't think i'll ever get as great of teachers as them, again. :) Ha... and for my gurls-- nope, no guy has asked me out, *yet*, but i get stares all the time... ;) j/k. i think all the guys at TVCC are chickens... :D (which is just fine... just one less thing for me to have to worry about.) **i'm happy right where i am** :) but *anyhow..* i started a new student today, and got 2 calls about new students. :D things are picking up there, which i'm very thankful for. :) (it means i can stay home and not have to go find another job...) (while we're on the subject-- please keep a very dear friend of mine in your prayers... they're starting to weigh options, and make decisions about upcoming jobs right now... it could mean big things, so, just pray that that friend is given peace, and that the right path is laid before them. *thanks*) :) Ooh!---and i joined the JMTA---Jacksonville Music Teacher's Association. :D That's *awesome!!* there's about 5 other ladies in it, and i'm the youngest member by about 50 years! :D it's great. and i know i'm going to learn so much through this. :) for our next program (the first week of Nov.), one of my childhood heros is going to come give us a small recital. :DDD (--big smile), he's one of my teacher's previous students, he graduated and went on to be a music major for piano performance in tyler. I'm *Really* looking forward to that. :D he (and another student) are one of the reasons i started practicing, and really have a love for music now. he's a hero, not on the level with Bach, Mozart, and Beethoven, but a hero just the same. :) other than that, sukkot is going on...i wish i was in OK with the rest of my bunch... (well, a few of them, anyway..) but, oh well. :) if i was there, who would stay here and study for my stupid history test on tuesday, or my math test tomorrow... *yuck*... :( lol. oh well. our sukka looks *beautimous!!* if i knew how to put pics on here (and had my camera all loaded onto the computer), i'd put a pic up. maybe next time. :) as soon as all my peeps are back from sukkot, i'm gonna get together with Cassi, Sydney, and Sarah, and we're gonna *par-tay!*. ;) *good times, good times...* ***NEE*** ;) i'm also looking at my calendar to see when one of my best friends will be able to come visit again.... i think the 20th was mentioned as a possibility (which is oh-so-faraway...)... but then again... there's Nov. 5 (for a recital by the "hero"--open to the public) lol, the more the merrier. (and another friend holding me down would be good....lol.. face it-- male pianists are just, well, ummm... (forgive me anyone who is offended)... but, *sexy*. *sigh*. luckily i have (even just the *thought* of-) someone to keep me from doing anything stupid... lol, but i'll need support to keep me from floating away...lol. :) (ya'll have no idea what good music does to me....) lol. Ooh!--and i got a van... scuse me, "the family's second vehicle" ;) it makes life *worlds* easier! Well, i'm afraid i must go... homework is calling.... (so is my box of cheez its...although *no*, i'll turn away... John ((rather rudely)) informed me today that i was fat....) ((and really, he was just saying it to be mean... i guess that was the only thing that he could come up with to hurt me...)) so, maybe i'll refrain from them.... nah. :D whoever made it through all this rambling deserves a medal!! i love all ya'll lots and lots and lots!!!! XOXOXOXO~ Em FFP | | |
| Wow... well.... lol, Friday/Saturday was *awesome*! I *loved* having my camp buddies over friday night! it was *so* fun! HA!, if any of you have never played Psychology at 2 in the morning-- you're just missin out on the best of life...lol.(especially when our poor dear psychologist was asking our friend, Taylor, what was wrong with him-- what kind of things he wore/hair/hobbies type stuff... and his answers were, shopping, he loved skirts, and his hair didn't give him too much trouble, just throw it up in a pony tail....lol--the fun part was how he answered....lololol. (James needed some therapy after that performance...lol) it was *hilarious!!*) And then Saturday night at the Dogwood Jamboree went "ok".... It was really fun to get up there and perform.. (i think i've been bitten by the performing bug... it's better than any high/adrenaline rush that you can get from a roller coaster, or anything like that.... it's incredible!) but, i messed up pretty bad (i thought), at one point, (lol- i could't hear the keyboard up on stage, i just had to trust that i was doin ok...lol= we played 2 songs, and i while playing the first song, i tried to add a part in from the second... lol, not cool...) lol. My knees were shaking so bad, lol, i figured that the audience would start laughing at any moment because my skirt looked like one of those dash-board hula dancer dolls....lol. and, when we got off stage, i nearly fell over... but it was great. When mom and i went to WalMart on Sunday, someone stopped us and told us how well we did...lol, i felt like a celebrity.... =D And Sunday mom and i went to a baby shower... that was ok. lol. i swear, i got 8 hours of sleep the whole weekend...lol. But there ya go. lol. that was just some of the surface stuff.... the rest of my weekend (not mentioned) was incredibly, fantabulously, crazily!, GREAT!!!!!!!! And i hope there's more like it to come. =D Anyhow.... =) I'm going for now... College registration is tomorrow... *eek*! then classes start next monday... fun fun fun....
well, off to save the world......

| OK, so, i just got the test results for the THEA test-- lol. a *huge* load of stress has been lifted. (prayers have definately been answered). I passed Writing, I way passed Reading, and did better on Math than i thought i would... (still didn't pass, but did really well.) =D I just wanted to share this with you all. See?!?-- another great reminder that there is a wonderful God who is watching out for us, even down to the little details of what we're stressed about!-- *thankyou Father!* =D
*I'm still smiling* (Bill Cloud voice...) lol
*Seeing the world in my sunflower shaded hue, wishing that somehow i could share it with you Bright smiles i'll have for you, when next we should meet, until then, God Bless to all, Awesomenessisty, and *NEE*! ;D*

| (gots to get that t-shirt) lol. that's what today feels like. *Monday...* EEK! lol. This week is gonna be a killer. Today i went to lunch with one of my bestest buddies- Amy (-a late birthday lunch-her 18th birthday was last Thursday, and mom had the car all day), at Giavanni's here in town. (great lil itallian restaurant!), and it was *so* funny, because just before we were done eating, my Dad walked in with 2 of his nurses, and a drug rep. it was *very* funny, and *completely* caught me off guard... lol. it's great to live in a small town... Ooohh.. and i have serious room reconstruction for this afternoon... (yah--it seriously looks like a hurricane went through my room... lol--*i know!*, -i'll blame the cat...) Mom told my bros and i that we had to have our rooms perfect to get to go to *Six Flags* on Wednesday! (*fun fun fun*!) So, i have to have mine all perfect tonight, because i'll teach (piano) *all day* tomorrow, and then Cassi-Dear will be coming to spend the night and ride up with us (to Six Flags). Six Flags is gonna be *awesome!!* My 3 bros, a girl (Lauren) from our bible study group and her cousin who's visiting, then-, Cassi, Sarah (*hopefully!!*), and (we've tried to get hold of Andrew to go, but no luck... lol--*telephone tag*), and, James and (hopefully!) his sis- will meet us there! It's gonna be super-duper! (and i hope i haven't left anyone out... lol.) Anyhow. So, that's all day Wednesday, then Thursday, i was going to have a harp lesson, but found out that that got cancelled. (Praise Yah!) =) Not only do i need more time to prepare, but this week just gets crazier and crazier!... (Ooh-- since Bradley starts classes back on the 21st- next monday- he, Amy, and i may try to go bowling thursday night, or something.) Then Friday, i'll clean house like crazy, and get ready for some camp buddies to arrive for our Shabbat meeting. =D I am *really* looking forward to that. =) The camp buddies being-- James, Taylor, Cassi, and Sarah. =D *fun times, fun times* They'll all be stayin the night (lol-- but as my mom has already put her foot down-- "no staying up all night" lol), and then we'll all leave the next day around noon. *because*-- my whole family will be performing with the Dogwood Jamboree (a country western show that our town has started doing about every other month.) usually my dad plays with them, but this time, they want us all.... it's not exactly my style of music.... (give me Beethoven, Chopin, --yeah, the good stuff....) ;D , but, it's important to my dad, so- it's important to me. *plus*, it'll be up in front of a *big* audience! =DDD We'll only do 2 or 3 songs, but i'm looking forward to the performance part. =) (gots to work on my lil solo parts, though... *eek*!--my dad's trying to get me to throw something together in a weeks time, that i've never had to do before... i'm a lil worried about how it's gonna turn out...) (plus, one of my camp buddies is staying the weekend, because they wanted to hear us perform... lol-- i keep getting teased that they're sure that i'm gonna "work extra hard", so that i sound good. lol.... --gotta love family...) Anyhow... lol, so ya'll keep my in your prayers... lol, i may blow up from stress! lol, nah...
Ya'll, please keep my in your prayers... lol, oddly enough, my bright, sunny self is a bit in a state of "*eek*".... i know that i shouldn't ever worry about anything, but somehow, i seem to be doing just that. I think part of it, maybe a lot of it, has to do with college stuff coming up, but i'm letting it just kinda spill over into other parts of my life. Parts of my life that i shouldn't even be worrying about right now... not cool. And a wise friend of mine told me that those worries were just fear, and fear is not of God, so, i've given those worries to God, and i'm praying for them to just dissappear... lol, i just thought of Star Wars, the old trilogy, where Luke is fighting "Darth Vador" at Yoda's pad, and , but in reality, it's Luke, himself.... (remember-- he cuts off the guys head, and it turns out to be his own head...) i feel like i'm fighting with myself on this one, i just pray that i don't cut off my head...... =) *needs a big hug* lol.
So........ i hope you're all great!!!
Smiles to all!!!~

| Ok-- i'm determined to get better about this *web-log entry* thing... =) Last week was a killer! Between getting back and recovering from vacation, Monday was long and crazy, Tuesday i thought *all* day, Wednesday we went to a little birthday party for a little boy in our bible study group. The theme was pirates. I was so remembering back to a day at camp.... lol, *good times, good times*. Then i woke up at 5:00 AM!!!--yes, actually woke up at that time... (it's a lot harder to get up then, than to stay up, till then...) and i took the THEA test that day, i literally got there at 7:30, and left at 2:20!) we had 5 hours to take the test, and by the time they got it started, i took it in 4 hours and 45 minutes... *eek*! =) I'm so glad that's over now. (now i can look forward to College classes starting on the 28th. i think.....) I also went up to Tyler that night and spent the night with Amy and Angela, at Angela's house. I got to see the Tator Tot. (Ang's baby, Sophia Christine, dubbed "Tot" by yours truely--Auntie Em) She is growing up *so* fast!!! She's already 5 1/2 months old! Wow the time has flown. I got a few *really* cute pics of her, and we stayed up late watching movies and chatting. We watched "Just like Heaven", and "She's the Man". I'd seen "Just Like Heaven" before, so when i got a call from one of my friends, i didn't mind chatting awhile (it's crazy how those calls from friends keep ya smiling for forever, and then you get teased by those around you...) (anyhow..), while Angela, Amy, and Jason(Ang's husband) finished the movie... (btw-- that is a *great* movie!) And we all *loved* she's the man! It had us laughing *so* hard! Then i got home on Friday afternoon, and then helped get the house and everything else ready for our Bible Studay for Shabbat. That night was the last night for one family to be there, so it was kind of sad... this is the family that i have watched their 3 smallest kids (ages 5, 3, and 1) during the bible study for the past, *long* time... Brandy (their mom) says i'm like his second mother! I'm really sad that they're going, but this also means that i'll be staying if for the bible study from now on, so that's a plus. My Dad usually does the study, and he's *awesome!*. We sat around and talked with them, prayed with them, and blessed them instead of a bible study, and they shared favorite memories, and since they've known us the longest, they had a lot to say about us, and Brandy said something about me that nearly knocked me completely out of my seat!!! (i don't know wheather all the color drained out of my face, or if it turned beet red!) lol. Looking back now it's funny, but i seriously thought i was about to... *i don't know what!* lol. (yes Cassi-- lol--laugh on!) We're going to be eating dinner with them tomorrow night. Then they leave on Wednesday. *wah*! My weekend went great! i tried to stay up all night practicing piano (just starting off at piano, then onto harp, amongst other instruments that it's time for me to get out and show some TLC), i made it till about 2:30 or 3... lol-- i was sitting there playing Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata (1st Movement), with my eyes closed, and i was so worn out, i nearly fell of my stool. so... yah. my mom was like-"go get in bed", so i did. =) Then i slept till 4:30! Hah! that was great! And Sunday I got up early and went to a 2:00 showing of our public theather's"The Music Man", it was great!, my best friend Amy and i went to it, and got our feet squished by the people in front of us' chairs... lol. (-you had to be there....), i *so* want to get involved with theater now... hmm.. lol. But, it's been pointed out to me that it would take up a lot of time, maybe all my time, and that i might not have as much time for friends. And, i don't want that to happen, so... i'm gonna wait and see. *Hakunah Matatah!* (lol-- i wish that they'd taught you how to spell that in the Lion King...) anywho... now it's Monday. Monday afternoon to be more precise. I taught one lesson today, and don't have any tomorrow. I'll probably end up doing some serious room cleaning, music-ing(--the rain this morning has given me another idea for a song... we'll see if it goes anywhere...) =), and no telling what else. I'm about to go call a friend from the Homeschool association about *clogging*!!! (Yes, Cass-- i remember... lol) And i'm going to end this here!
Huggies!!!
xoxoxo~
